These Japanese Black Pine are 15″ to 20″ tall with 1 to 1 1/4 trunks and 2″ to 4″ nebari.
The first part of the class will be lecture about year round black pine care including decandling, needle reduction techniques and timing.
After the lecture, we will bring balance to the tree by reducing needles and removing unnecessary branches for a first styling. The trees will be slip potted into bonsai pots this spring.
Only students that have attended our beginner class or more experience should apply. Students are required to bring their own tools and wire, or purchase what is needed during workshop.
