This is for the beginner bonsai class at Statesville, NC location only.  Once you register and pay, we will coordinate a mutual time for the class. Please see our Workshop category for registration for our Holly Springs, NC location.  You may select one of two options, to register for the class or purchase a class gift certificate.

This is a learning experience designed to equip you with a basic understanding of the art of bonsai and with the skills necessary to get you started. The price of the course includes instruction and a bonsai. The first half of the session will consist of lecture/demonstration. We will cover topics such as; watering, pest control, pruning, wiring, potting, styling and general horticulture for your tree. The second half of the session the instructor will take a tree and walk through the process and show you how to take raw stock and make a bonsai by pruning and wiring.  At the end of the session you will not only go home with a bonsai, but more importantly, with enough information to serve as a solid foundation for learning more. It is offered by appointment only throughout the year.  The beginner class does not have a set schedule throughout the year, we schedule them based on registration and work with you on a mutual time for the class once registration is paid.
