🌿 Repotting Your Bonsai

Skill Level: Beginner-Advanced
Duration: 10am to 1pm, class size is no more than 5

Description:
Given the time of year for this repotting session, this is for junipers only including the junipers that are included in our beginner class.  Repotting is one of the most important steps in keeping your bonsai healthy and thriving.  In this hands-on class, you’ll learn when and how to repot your tree. You will also learn the proper way to trim roots and how to choose the right soil mix and pot for your bonsai’s long-term health.

Our instructor will guide you through each step of the process, demonstrating proper techniques and sharing expert tips to help you succeed.  You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your tree’s root system. Moreover, you will learn how repotting can encourage stronger growth and improved aesthetics.

Whether you’re new to bonsai or looking to refine your repotting technique, this class will give you the confidence and knowledge to care for your tree during repotting season.

• Choosing the right soil composition and pot

• Post-repotting care, watering, and recovery tips

What to Bring:
Bring your beginner class juniper/other junipers, or work on one of our nursery trees during class.  This is an open workshop, you can come and go during class time.  Wire, soil, pots and additional supplies are available for purchase in our shop.
